Institute of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences
Curriculum & Program

The Institute of Environmental Health Sciences is concerned with the detection and prevention of adverse health effects caused by chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic factors in occupational and community settings in Taiwan and around the world. The program emphasizes interactive, student-directed  learning. Problem-solving and the acquisition of skills essential to the practice of environmental health are important parts of training as well. Beyond the program’s requirements, students are encouraged to consult with faculty or advisors. 

There are four major fields:

1.    Environmental and  Occupational Hygiene Sciences

2.    Environmental Health

3.    Occupational Health

4.    Practice and Project Study

Study goals, tracks, and general requirements are described below. Students can also choose elective courses best suited to their needs.
